Special Rates for Parts of the Conference

Registration Type	Cost	Notes
Regular	$395.00	Due to the generous support of our sponsors, we are able to keep registration at this ‘early bird’ rate. This covers all conference workshops, receptions, and other officials activities.
Monteverde Residents	$195.00	This special rate is only for residents of the zone. This will allow you to attend the workshops on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, but not luncheon sessions. It also covers the closing dinner and concert.
Students	$125.00	Students with valid ID’s can register at this rate to attend all conference workshops, but this does not cover the receptions, dinners or other special events.
Short Course	$100.00	The Short Course is free for all confernce participants. Non-conference participants can register to attend this course and film at the Hotel Herradura, 1:30-5:15 pm, Wednesday, July 20.
Press	$195.00	This special rate is for credentialed media or free lance journalists who present three “expression of interest” letters from their media clients. Contact David Krantz ([email protected])
Friends/ Families	$195.00	This rate includes: July 20 Opening reception and dinner, San Jose July 23 Interview with Chris Blackwell, Reception, closing dinner, and concert Guided tour of one of the three pristine Private Reserves: the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, the Children’s Rainforest, or the Santa Elena Reserve July 22 “Typical Night” - of school group dancing, marimba Round trip transportation San Jose - Monteverde Not included: participation in the workshops
Opening Dinner/Reception at Hotel Herradura	$50.00	For those not registered for the full conference.
Closing Dinner/Concert in Monteverde	$65.00	For those not registered for the full conference.
